Sod, planting and beds
The part you actually look at. Drought tolerant planting picked for Anaheim heat, sod laid on prepared and levelled soil, beds edged so they hold their shape.

- Drought tolerant planting
- Edging

We build from the subgrade up. Compaction, drainage and the water lines get done properly first, and the part you look at goes on top of that.
Drawing of a typical section. Not a photo of a job we have done.

Patios, walkways and driveways. Cut, set and jointed so the surface stays flat and water runs off it in the direction we chose.
Amending, levelling and setting the fall away from the house. Most brown patches and most standing water are decided here, before anything green arrives.
New systems, zone repairs, valves, heads, controllers and drip conversions. Every zone gets run and watched before we leave the site.
Crushed base under every hardscape, at the depth the surface needs. This is the layer that decides whether your pavers still line up in year five.
Clearing, haul away, stump grinding and compaction. The unglamorous half of the job, and the half nobody sees when it was skipped until it is too late.
All eight are on our Google listing, including the one that is not five stars. Read them there rather than reading the ones we would have chosen.
Reserved for our own job photos. Empty beats somebody else's back yard.
A sprinkler repair and a whole back yard follow the same route. Step two is the only one that gets longer.
Describe what the yard is doing. A photo of the brown patch or the lifted paver saves us both a trip.
We check the grade, run the zones, see what is already under there, and put a price in writing.
Booked dates, our own crew, site swept at the end of every day.
Call and tell us what is happening. We will say on the phone whether it is an hour of work or a real project before anyone drives out.
